Ministry of AYUSH: Champion Service Sector Scheme

The Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, in an effort to bolster AYUSH based-medical tourism in India, is extending financial support to investors under the flagship ‘Champion Service Sector Scheme’ who wish to establish Ayush Hospitals/ Day Care Centres in India for medical value travel.

The Ministry would provide interest subsidy to all those who apply and qualify under this scheme for a period not extending five years. The scheme would go a long way in reinforcing the growth story of AYUSH in India and would deeply benefit all those who apply under it. The quantum of financial support to be provided under this Scheme shall be in the form of interest subsidy component in descending order: -

  • 1st Year - 100%
  • 2nd Year - 70%
  • 3rd Year - 50%
  • 4th Year - 40%
  • 5th Year - 20%

This will be facilitated through Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) for facilitation of easy loans through identified Public Sector Banks (PSBs).

The scheme is currently valid up to 31st March 2022 and the last date to apply under this scheme is 5:30pm IST 23rd June 2021.

Invitation and proposals procedure: -

  • The proposals would be invited through advertisement in the leading National Newspapers (Hindi & English) as well as on the official website of the Ministry of AYUSH. The list of points to be covered in the Proposal is given at (Annex- A) of the attached document.

  • The applicant institution shall submit complete application (Three sets duly spiral bound) in prescribed format (Annex- B) along with all supportive documents/ information as per checklist given at (Annex-C) to judge the eligibility through post as well as E-mail ([email protected]) (in PDF format only) as indicated in the advertisement. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
