Procedure for submission of Emergency Visa application Applications for Emergency Visa may be filled online (www.indianvisaonline.gov.in) and book appointments online at https://www.hcilondon.gov.in/appointment_home/ to submit visa applications and supporting document at VFS global visa application centre. Only in extreme emergency of genuine cases, like death or serious illness of immediate family member (blood relation with proof of relationship) subject  to providing supporting documentary evidences from India like death certificate/hospital certificate dully stamped, applicant may contact High Commission of India, London by email at visa.london@mea.gov.in  or emergency contact numbers and after appointment or coordinate with the visa officer, applicant may visit HCI office Aldwych, WC2B 4NA London, from 1000 hrs to 1700 hours during Saturdays, Sundays and holidays to submit visa applications. Applicants are advised to bring visa application, passport (valid minimum 6 months and two blanks’ pages), 2 photographs (50mmx50mm), supporting documents and visa fee as mentioned at visa fee £183 (£116 Tourist visa fees + £3 Consular surcharge + £64 as Emergency visa fee) in cash (exact amount).  Kindly note that we do not accept other modes of payment at High Commission. In case of minor applicants (below 16 years) need documents in original and self-attested copy of documents- Marriage certificate, Birth certificate (full version), Consent form duly signed by both the parents and self-attested copies of their current passport. Application form of minor may be signed by either of the parents or both. A custody order from the Court is required in respect of children, whose parents are legally separated.
