भारत के उच्चायोग, लंदन द्वारा प्रति वर्ष यु.के में हिंदी भाषा साहित्य तथा हिंदी शिक्षण को बढ़ावा देने वाले व्यक्तियों एवं संस्थाओं को (प्रतिवर्ष कुल 4) विश्व हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर हरिवंश राय बच्चन हिन्दी लेखन सम्मान, जॉन गिलक्रिस्ट यु.के. हिंदी शिक्षण सम्मान, आचार्य महावीर प्रसाद द्विवेदी पत्रकारिता सम्मान और फेड्रिक पिन्काट हिंदी प्रचार प्रसार सम्मान से सम्मानित किया जाता है | इसके साथ डॉ लक्ष्मी मल सिंघवी हिंदी साहित्य प्रकाशन अनुदान के तहद प्रतिवर्ष यु.के. के लेखकों को अपनी पुस्तक प्रकाशित करने के लिए अनुदान के रूप में राशि और मानपत्र प्रदान किया जाता है | इन सम्मानों में शील्ड, सम्मान पत्र, शाल और एक निश्चित धन राशि दी जाती है |
इन सम्मानों के लिए ब्रिटेन के लेखकों, कवियों, हिंदी मीडिया/पत्रकारिता एजेंसियों/ व्यक्तियों, हिंदी शिक्षण, प्रचार प्रसार में शामिल संस्थाओं/ व्यक्तियों की उपलब्धियों के ब्यौरे आमंत्रित हैं | इस श्रेणी में भी हिंदी रचनाओं की पांडुलिपियाँ/ हाल में छपी पुस्तकें आमंत्रित है | अनुरोध है कि पांडुलिपियों की टंकित प्रति के साथ एक या दो पृष्ठ का सारांश भी भेजे |
आवेदन के साथ निम्न माँगी गयी जानकारी भी दें |
1. यु,.के में कितने वर्षों से रह रहें है | (तीन या तीन से अधिक)
2.कब से आवेदित श्रेणी के क्षेत्र में सक्रियता से कार्य कर रहे हैं |
3.प्राप्त सम्मानों की सूची
4. निजी रूप से आपका हिंदी प्रचार-प्रसार में योगदान (संक्षिप्त जानकारी)
5. कितनी कृतियाँ प्रकाशित हैं ( हिंदी लेखन सम्मान / पुस्तक प्रकाशन योजना हेतु)
6.क्या यु.के. हिंदी सम्मान की किसी अन्य श्रेणी में पुरस्कृत हो चुके हैं? अगर हाँ तो कौन सी और कब|
आवेदन के साथ किसी प्रतिष्ठित व्यक्ति की संस्तुति भी आवश्यक होगी।

High commission of India, London honors Hindi writers, Teachers, Media persons and organizations working for promotion of Hindi in UK. Entries in all the four categories for Dr. Harivansh Rai Bacchan lekhan samman , J
John Gilkrist samman for Hindi Teaching, Aacharya Mahaveer Prasaad Dwivedi Samman for Journalism and Fedrik Pincot samman for promotion of Hindi in UK are invited. Besides this grant is also given for publication of Hindi book under Lakshmi mal Singhvi Hindi book publication scheme. These prizes consists of a shield, appreciation letter, shawl and a cash prize.
Applications of achievements of pravasi Hindi writers, poets, Hindi media persons/journalism agencies/individuals, institutions/individuals involved in Hindi teaching and propagation are invited. Manuscripts of Hindi works/recently published books are also invited in this category. It is requested to send a one or two page summary along with a typed copy of the manuscripts. Entries should be sent along with recommendation letter of . These entries/manuscripts will be accepted before December 22, 2023. Also provide the following required information along with the application.
1. How many years have you been living in UK? (Not less then three)
2. Since when have you been actively working in the field of the applied category?
3. List of honors received
4. Your personal contribution in spreading Hindi (brief information)
5. How many works are published (for Hindi writing award/book publishing scheme)
6. Is the U.K. Have you been awarded in any other category of Hindi honour? If yes then which one and when?
