Reverse Buyer Seller Meet during World Food India 2024 

The Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) is the nodal agency for the export promotion of seafood under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

India is a leading nation among the global seafood exporting countries, catering to 132 countries. As a part of our commitment to enhancing seafood exports, MPEDA will participate in the World Food India (WFI) 2024, organised by the Ministry of Food Processing and Industries. This event is scheduled for 19 - 22 September 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, India.The RBSM at WFI 2024 will provide a valuable platform for fostering productive business interactions between Indian seafood exporters and international importers. During the previous edition of WFI, MPEDA organised a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) with participation from 26 importers from 8 countries. About 41 leading Indian seafood exporters attended RBSM and benefited. MPEDA will extend its support to the participating importers by facilitating their travel arrangements. MPEDA will reimburse the fare for a return economy class air ticket for the shortest route (with a maximum limit of USD 2,000). MPEDA will also arrange accommodation near the venue and extend other local hospitality during the event days. MPEDA will also extend support for the participating importers to visit processing plants in India.
