Subject: Advisory for Prospective Job Seekers Against Fraud

Instances have come to notice of the High Commission of fraudsters approaching prospective job seekers claiming to be High Commission Officials/representing High Commission. In some cases, they have forged letter-heads and email ids.

2. In this regard, it is clarified that the High Commission does not issue such letters/emails. Job seekers are advised to verify the genuineness of such offers directly. Suspicious emails communications may please be referred to [email protected]

3. Victims of fraud are encouraged to immediately lodge report regarding fraud/identity theft/forgery of documents to the local police authorities and report the matter online to https://www.actionfraud.police.uk
